Slide 5 Review their knowledge of the set products and how the Paper 2 Section B products are to be studied. Take time to go over the requirements and the strategies required by the exam board in responding to the set products in this section. Stress that the purpose in these lessons is guidance and strategies to enable them to start to apply acquired learning and understanding of the theoretical models from the rest of the Media course.

The study of the media for GCSE involves a solid understanding of how the media industry and its range of institutions construct media products that communicate messages to their audiences about the world we live in and our place within it.
